Over the weekend the Nicholas County marching band performed at the Mason County Marching Band Competition receiving 1st place in their class and 4th place overall. This was their second week of competitions. This year’s show is entitled, Di Figaro.
At noon, they took the field in prelims after a downpour which caused the field to be muddy and difficult to maneuver. Despite this obstacle, they still pulled off an amazing performance.
Nicholas County drew to go on seventh during the final performance. After resting , the band went to warm-ups and then it was time to perform. They gave the audience and panel of judges a solid performance. No one was disappointed at finals and they received fourth overall out of eight bands.
Congratulations and good luck on the rest of your season.
